Pura Muñoz-Cánoves is a Spanish cell biologist and aging researcher focused on skeletal muscle regeneration, stem-cell biology, senescence, and tissue aging. She is a Principal Investigator at Altos Labs in San Diego and has held senior academic roles at Pompeu Fabra University, ICREA, and the Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research. She is also a member of EMBO and Academia Europaea and has been recognized with major Spanish biomedical awards.
