Michael Levin is a developmental and regenerative biologist at Tufts University, where he is a professor of biology and biomedical engineering and holds the Vannevar Bush Professorship. He directs the Allen Discovery Center at Tufts and the Tufts Center for Regenerative and Developmental Biology, with research spanning bioelectricity, morphogenesis, regenerative medicine, synthetic bioengineering, and unconventional intelligence in living systems. He is also an associate faculty member at the Wyss Institute at Harvard and a scientific co-founder of Astonishing Labs.
