Dena Dubal is a physician-scientist and Professor of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she also holds the David A. Coulter Endowed Chair in Aging and Neurodegenerative Disease. Her research focuses on brain resilience in aging, including the longevity hormone klotho, sex chromosomes, Alzheimer's disease, and related neurodegenerative conditions. She is also a cofounder of Jocasta Neuroscience, which is developing alpha-Klotho-based therapeutics for cognitive decline.
