John C. Bischof is a University of Minnesota biomedical/mechanical engineering professor focused on biopreservation, cryobiology, nanomedicine, and transplantation-enabling technologies. He serves as director of the University of Minnesota Institute for Engineering in Medicine and as director of the NSF Engineering Research Center ATP-Bio. He is also publicly listed on the XPRIZE Health Brain Trust and has helped lead organ-preservation initiatives with clinical and nonprofit partners.
