Amber Wutich is an American anthropologist and President’s Professor at Arizona State University whose research focuses on water insecurity, health, and social inequality. She directs ASU’s Center for Global Health, co-founded and co-directs the Global Ethnohydrology Study, and serves as project director for Action for Water Equity. In 2023, she was named a MacArthur Fellow for work on how communities cope with inadequate access to safe water.
