Andrew D. Martin is the 15th chancellor of Washington University in St. Louis and a political scientist with appointments spanning political science, law, statistics, and data science. Before becoming chancellor, he served as dean of the University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts and previously held multiple senior academic roles at WashU. His scholarship focuses on judicial politics, empirical legal studies, and quantitative methods, and he was elected to the American Academy of Arts & Sciences in 2021.
