David Genecov (1963-2022) was a Dallas-based craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgeon who later became a biotech entrepreneur and company builder. He co-founded or helped lead companies including AveXis, Dialectic Therapeutics, and Cessation Therapeutics, and also served as a director or investor in CerSci Therapeutics. He died in November 2022 after a car accident in North Dallas.
