Dr. Thomas Gasser is a German neurologist and Parkinson's researcher based at the University of Tübingen and the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research. His work centers on the genetic and molecular basis of neurodegenerative disease, especially Parkinson's disease and dystonia, and he also coordinates clinical research for DZNE Tübingen. He is a senior academic leader in Tübingen neuroscience and helped found the TübingenNeuroCampus.
