Frank M. Longo, MD, PhD is a Stanford neurologist and neuroscientist focused on Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and neurodegenerative drug discovery. He served as chair of Stanford’s Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences from 2006 to 2023 and co-founded PharmatrophiX to commercialize neurotrophin-receptor therapeutics. His translational work includes LM11A-31, a p75 neurotrophin receptor modulator reported in a 2024 Nature Medicine phase 2a Alzheimer disease trial.
