Professor Sir Mark Pepys FRS

Professor Sir Mark Pepys is a British physician-immunologist best known for pioneering work on amyloidosis, pentraxin proteins, and related diagnostics and therapeutics. The Royal Society lists him as Director of the Wolfson Drug Discovery Unit and Emeritus Professor of Medicine at University College London, and credits him with founding the National Amyloidosis Centre. He is also an academic founder of Immutrin, a biotechnology company developing antibody therapies for ATTR amyloidosis.
