Martin Babler is a Swiss-trained pharmacist and biotech executive who serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Alumis. Before joining Alumis in September 2021, he was President and CEO of Principia Biopharma until its acquisition by Sanofi in September 2020, and earlier led Talima Therapeutics and held senior commercial roles at Genentech and Eli Lilly. He also serves on public-company and industry boards including Prelude Therapeutics, 89bio, and the Biotechnology Innovation Organization's Emerging Companies Section Governing Board.
