Marios Papaefthymiou is a Greek-American computer scientist and academic leader. Public sources identify him as dean of the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, and previously chair of computer science and engineering at the University of Michigan. He is also noted for research in energy-efficient and high-performance computing and for being named an IEEE Fellow.
