Thomas J. White was an American businessman and philanthropist associated with J.F. White Contracting Co. and best known publicly as a co-founder and early backer of Partners In Health. His role in the ecosystem was philanthropic and institution-building rather than fund management. PIH later maintained a board-designated Thomas J. White Fund to support long-term projects.
