Roger J. Pomerantz, M.D., F.A.C.P., is a physician-executive in biopharma and infectious disease with former leadership roles at Seres Therapeutics, ContraFect, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Tibotec. He also held a venture role at Flagship Ventures/Pioneering and has served on multiple public-company boards including Viracta and Indaptus. Earlier in his career he was a professor, chief of infectious diseases, and founding director of the Institute for Human Virology and Biodefense at Thomas Jefferson University.
