David Gobel (born 1952, Baltimore) is an American philanthropist, serial entrepreneur, inventor, and futurist who co-founded the Methuselah Foundation in 2001 to accelerate longevity research. He serves as CEO of both the Foundation and Methuselah Fund LLC (the M Fund), a boutique seed-stage venture fund investing in companies developing technologies to extend healthy human lifespan. He is one of the earliest advocates for longevity escape velocity and a central figure in the longevity funding ecosystem.
