Michal Minczuk is a mitochondrial genetics researcher at the University of Cambridge and Professor of Mitochondrial Genetics at the MRC Mitochondrial Biology Unit. He is also a co-founder of Pretzel Therapeutics, a biotech company developing therapies based on mitochondrial biology. His work focuses on mitochondrial genome engineering, mitochondrial disease, and translational approaches to therapies for rare and aging-related disorders.
