Dale Bredesen is a neurologist and Alzheimer's researcher known for work on neurodegenerative disease, precision-medicine approaches to cognitive decline, and authorship of bestselling books on Alzheimer's. He joined the Buck Institute in 1998 as founding President and CEO and later remained involved in Alzheimer's research there. He is currently presented by Apollo Health as its Chief Science Officer and the scientific figure behind the ReCODE/Bredesen Protocol.
