Stefano Buono is an Italian physicist and entrepreneur best known as founder and CEO of newcleo, the advanced nuclear company developing lead-cooled reactors and recycled-fuel systems. He previously founded Advanced Accelerator Applications, which listed on Nasdaq and was sold to Novartis for $3.9 billion in 2018. He also serves as Chairman of LIFTT and is identified by LIFTT as founder of Elysia Capital, his single family office.
