company mission
SuperPower's mission barely moves across these two snapshots. In late 1996, the company frames itself as a hands-on power-systems specialist: work closely with customer design teams, take responsibility for the whole system, and deliver something reliable, approvable, and cost-conscious. The emphasis is practical and operational. It is about helping customers ship products without building a bloated in-house power team. By January 1997, the pitch becomes slightly broader and more ambitious. The core capabilities stay the same, design, packaging, development, and production of complex electronic power systems, but the claim shifts from customer execution to contributing to power technology across many industries. That is a real change in tone, though not a radical one. The company still defines itself through engineering depth and complex power-system work; it just talks less about process ownership and more about sector-wide relevance. What stays stable is the center of gravity: SuperPower is still a specialized engineering and production partner for complex power electronics. What changes is the altitude of the claim. December 1996 says, in effect, "we help your team get this done." January 1997 says, "our expertise matters across industries." Evidence is thin because we only have two statements, one month apart, and both come from company-controlled website copy. That is enough to see a small rhetorical expansion, not enough to claim a strategic rewrite.
