In the Parkinson's disease Phase 2 trial, NLY01 2.5 mg and 5.0 mg did not improve MDS-UPDRS parts II and III versus placebo at week 36. Gastrointestinal events, especially nausea, were more common in active-treatment groups. Preclinical Alzheimer's disease models reported neuroprotection by blocking microglial activation of reactive astrocytes. Preclinical demyelination/remyelination studies found no evidence supporting benefit in cuprizone models.
