Assess the anti-inflammatory properties and safety of proprietary CaAKG-based dietary supplements and measure biological age using DNA methylation.
Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in adult men ages 45-65 and postmenopausal women to age 75; primary endpoint C-reactive protein, secondary safety endpoints blood chemistry and adverse effects, with saliva DNA methylation testing for biological age. An open-label sub-study enrolled eligible placebo-assigned subjects.
