Praetego is developing first-in-class advanced glycation end-product inhibitors able to deter AGE formation at the initiation of pathology. Praetego’s candidates are designed to slow or prevent diseases driven by oxidative stress, essentially the chronic diseases of aging. This includes the highly burdensome diseases of neurodegeneration & Alzheimer's, diabetic microvascular disease, and cardiovascular disease. Praetego’s management team are veteran product developers. Praetego’s scientific leadership has spent 3 decades studying AGE inhibitors. We have preclinical proof against variety of indications and clinical efficacy data from an early candidate.
