Deadlines and submission URLs are re-checked by a dedicated extractor before a grant becomes visible; the rule in the copy is that LLM guesses are never trusted on dates. A grant page shows the "Last verified" timestamp so a reader knows how fresh the check is. Programmes whose deadline has passed or whose page has died are marked inactive rather than deleted.
