Very little changed between 2017 and 2020. Methuselah Health kept the same core thesis: ageing sits underneath many common later-life diseases, current treatments do not address those diseases well, and proteome instability is a useful place to look for better targets. The company also kept the same operating plan: build analytical platforms that detect post-translational modifications across proteins, use those measurements to surface disease-relevant targets, and turn those targets into drugs. The shift is mostly in emphasis, not direction. In 2017 the company described proteome instability as an important mechanism "worth studying". By 2020 it called the same mechanism worth "targeting". That wording suggests a slightly stronger translational posture, with more confidence that the platform could lead to therapies rather than just biological insight. The rest of the language barely moves. Evidence is thin. We have two website snapshots, both high-level and both close in substance. There is no visible change in disease focus, no disclosed proof that the platform worked, and no public update here on candidate programs, preclinical results, or trials. So the safest reading is continuity: the belief stayed stable, and the public framing became a bit more drug-oriented.
