The Brain Preservation Foundation is an American nonprofit founded in 2010 to promote validated scientific research, knowledge, and technical services development in whole human brain preservation for long-term static storage. It focuses on accessibility, affordability, sustainability, public education, scanning techniques, neural foundations of learning and memory, and whole brain emulation. The foundation has used challenge prizes to evaluate preservation protocols for brain-wide 3D ultrastructure and synaptic connectivity in small and large animal brains.
The published score reflects a curated read of public evidence across 16 dimensions. Each dimension below shows the rationale we used. Disagree with a reading? Tell us where we are wrong →
Higher up = higher Eternal Search score. Further right = closer to achieving real longevity outcomes (early mechanism → translational → near-term readout). Bubble size = capital deployed. Watch for MISMATCHES: big bubbles on the left are well-capitalized but far from goals; small bubbles on the right are doing more with less.
Brain Preservation Foundation — Far from goals · Bottom quartile. Derived deterministically from 4 extracted project(s). Most-advanced status: exploratory. Band: far. Modifiers: +5 depth (3 programs at exploratory).…
